Finally

I got accepted to BACON! YAY! Not that I was really worried about it, but thanks to Mr. Fuck-tard, my application did not get finished until recently. This means that I have a very short amount of time to get prepared. I have to somehow get a doctor appointment before school starts, and I know that our doctor is very busy. Fortunately, I got the dorm stuff in time, so I can get all that junk taken care of.

In other news, Liz and Erica are both in town, and hopefully we will have some time to hang out. Tonight I get to go to a big Glenn family gathering, with all my cool crazy cousins. (How's that for alliteration, Erica)

Also, to anyone who has read Ender's Game: Read the Alvin Maker series (it starts with Seventh Son)

To anyone who has not read Ender's Game: Read Ender's Game, then read the Alvin Maker series.

I am currently on the third book right now... I started the first one 2 days ago. I don't remember the last time I was this drawn or interested by a book. Orson Scott Card is a genius.

nookliur: Go Ethan!

I was just thinking, "Man, I don't see that kid Ethan enough. We should hang out."

Then I thought, "Wait a minute, I have to see that kid five days out of the week! I'm crazy!"

Stupid week off of work. Throws me off.

Was this written before or after Ender's Game?

Ender's Game was published as a short story in '77, and a novel in '85. Seventh Son was published in '87
